Taking Refuge

“Take Refuge” is a collage of painted cotton using fiber-reactive dye to paint the fabric, and then pieced and sewn together into the original image resulting in a layered organic shape.

That we all could fine the feeling of inner spaces of refuge and safety of His wing. A place that is longed for and dreamed about. Where the world can not harm us, the night dose not scare, and the painful words of the day just blow past. Where our ever step is guarded. We are lifted up by our hands like a mother lifts a child and kisses the pane away. The extreme safe place warmth, peace, beauty, more kindness than one can imagine. The smells of good cooking, the music is soft, and we are being called to come and sit in His lap. This is the safety of the wings to take refuge.
